UNF Chick-Fil-A petition
The UNF Student Government has proposed the idea to bring Chick-Fil-A on campus, replacing a Sbarro’s restaurant. Many of the LGBT students, faculty, and staff oppose this decision as Chick-Fil-A’s recent controversy has proven that it is directly in opposition with the University’s core values of:
1) Pursuit of Truth and Knowledge carried out in the spirit of intellectual freedom
2) Ethical Conduct
3) Community Engagement
4) Diversity
5) Responsibility to the Natural environment
6) Mutual Respect and Civility

I saw the coolest owl
that I have ever seen on the nature trails tonight. While slipping around in the mud (I probably shouldn’t have gone running on the trails during the rain but oh well) he flew in front of me and landed on a tree really close to me. He stared at me for a while and I paused my music to look at him. He was a brownish black, with a prominent black chest. And he had these greenish-yellow looking eyes. Maybe it was the the shadows or the light but they looked more green than yellow. And then he made a sound and flew away, off to find shelter.
I didn’t even think to take a picture. But he was so cool looking.
